Located in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, a city with a reputation of “the cradle of pharmaceutical research and development”, the R&D center covers an area of 5000 m₂ in total, for which more than 30 million yuan has been invested as a construction fund. The center is equipped with modern synthesis laboratories for lab test and pilot plant test, complete analytical equipment and advanced research and development technology, including various kinds of equipment such as HPLC-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, Polarimeter, GC, TGA, DSC and moisture test apparatus,which takes about 10 million yuan as the annual R&D fund. The center owns an independent R&D ability for the customization synthesis of small molecule compound, the complete synthesis and structural modification of natural product, the preparation and industrialized application of nano-catalyst, and the development of pharmaceutical fine chemicals. The research direction covers six disease area including anti-infection, cardiovascular disease, digestive disease and anticoagulation with the total amount of more than 50 products under research.

There are more than 30 full-time researchers in the center, including 3 staffs have doctor degree and 14  have master degree. The key members of R&D team have many years of experience in small molecule pharmaceutical synthesis, new drugs development, production and registration. So far, more than 10 scientific research projects at national and provincial level are completed, more than 30 SCI papers are published, more than 20 national invention patents are obtained, and more than 300 small molecule compounds are developed. Oriented by independent development of high-tech and high value-added product, R&D center has, adhering to the concept of considering the innovation team as the enterprise's core competence, formed a research concept of “Accurate development, accurate production and accurate management” by the cultivation of young and middle-aged leading talents and the collaborative innovation in medical industry, education and research as well as the improvement of digital drive efficiency.
